Psychotherapy
When you are looking for an ally to help you navigate challenging times and difficult states of mind, I am here for you.
I specialize in contemplative and embodied psychotherapy to help support your mental and emotional wellbeing.
I began my studies in 1989 during an internship with Dr. James Gordon, director of the Center for Mind-Body Studies and well-known author specializing in the treatment of trauma and depression.
I have also had the good fortune to have studied for many years with teacher and therapist Bruce Tift, a renowned psychotherapist who is largely known for his revolutionary approaches to working with anxiety.
I began offering psychotherapy as a natural extension of the many years of counseling in my oriental medicine practice and is informed by my 25 years as a meditation student and teacher in contemplative traditions, as well as the experience of being a parent of a young adult.
Appointments are available both in-person in my clinic at the base of Boulder Canyon or via Telehealth (phone or HIPPA compliant virtual appointment).
